​Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) is a public institution of higher education located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. Established on September 7, 1990, by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the university was formed to fulfill the educational aspirations of the people in the state’s southernmost districts: Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, and Kanyakumari.
